This is the story about a singular presence. One who got interested in the insurance business through working for a virtual agency for a paycheck. As he talked and worked with various customers, he began to feel what they were going through. Already a caring and empathetic person, he dove in headfirst to study these fields of life and health insurance…not solely for the good commissions, but to make a difference in the lives of others.
Verdant Insurance Solutions is what is called an insurance brokerage. Instead of working for just one carrier, like Jake from State Farm or Flo from Progressive. I work for multiple carriers in both fields of life and health. I can offer potential clients more than one option to choose for coverage. I tell my clients that I am Booking.com for insurance. give me a little information to work with, and I will find you the best hotel…I mean, insurance policy.
After obtaining many state licenses in three years time, I was ready to enter the world of working for myself. Which in the beginning wasn’t that great. So I continued to learn more about the ever-changing industry that I have chosen. Later, I signed with two amazing IMO’s and was able to contract with lots of excellent big names like Mutual of Omaha, Transamerica, Ambetter, BlueCross Blue Shield, Allstate Health, and many others.
During the pandemic, insurance agents resorted to Zoom calls to reach their clients while still having that face-to-face setting. After that, the virtual way of contacting clients became the way to go, especially if one wanted their reach to cross state lines. That’s why my business is done over the phone, with teleconferencing capability. I can sell a final expense plan to someone in St. Louis, and later sell an ACA plan to someone in Texas without getting in my car.
Verdant’s goals are to expand into an agency with multiple agents under our umbrella.
